Easter Sunday - Resurrection Hope

Have you ever been offered something that looked too good to be true? Many times, that’s exactly how it works. We are bombarded with hundreds of ads every single day over-promising and under-delivering which conditions us to believe that many things are too good to be true. On top of that, we’ve been burned by relationships that started well but ended in disaster, jobs that didn’t pan out or turned frustrating at best, living situations or locations that turned out to be less than ideal. Even our vacations can over-promise and under deliver. So, what are our options? Do we risk hope when we can get burned again? Or do we give up trying and become cynical? Or is there a genuine reason to hope? Is there something we can turn to that will not only promise, but deliver on that promise? …something or someONE who can hold true no matter what happens in life? We believe that all of this is possible with God because of the resurrection of Jesus. Still skeptical?
