The Barrier of Fear (Numbers 13-14)

What are you afraid of? Some of the top fears in our world today continue to be similar themes from years past: fear of failure, financial insecurity, disapproval, public speaking, loss of loved ones, and death. We could all relate to at least one of these. The reality is that fear not dealt with has the power to not only derail God’s plans and purposes for our life, but also keeps us out of the bigger plans and purposes God wants to accomplish through His family. But how do we get rid of our fear? One of the worst things you can tell someone who’s struggling with fear is “do not be afraid,” because they usually start getting anxious about being afraid. It has to go deeper. How? Find out on Sunday as we continue our series “Keys to the Kingdom,” and discover how to not only overcome fear, but also how to lean into God’s future of our church with faith.
