The Rejected (Matthew 15:26-28; Luke 14:1-14)
Who do you spend time with? In our fast-paced world, we’re not often quick to slow down long enough to simply be with people. When we do, we often meet with people who will somehow enhance our life, or at least provide some reciprocal benefit. We reason the reward would be worth it. But what if there’s an even greater reward in spending time with people even if they do not provide any mutual benefit? What if the reward was simply to love as God loved us?
