The Wise Life (James 3:13-18)
“You should know better.” This is a phrase many kids are familiar with, as parents have spoken these words over poor choices for generations. What’s assumed? It’s assumed that the child has information that would have prevented them from making a bad decision. But is misinformation the critical piece of bad decision making? Or is it more than that? We have more information at our fingertips than ever before, yet it doesn’t seem to help our poor decision making. So, what do we need to help us navigate life better? As we continue our series, “This Is What We Do,” the apostle James delves into the power of wisdom and shows us that wisdom is the difference maker. But what is wisdom? How do we obtain it? How do we use it?
