Lead us not into temptation (Matthew 6:13)

Ignoring real warning signs can have devastating consequences. Look no further than the hubris of Stockton Rush and the catastrophe of the Titan sub, who ignored all warnings and lawsuits aimed at its fatally faulty design.  The same is true about our spiritual lives. We are in a war for our souls, and if we ignore the warnings against temptations and trials we put ourselves in compromised positions that can lead to a “catastrophic implosion.” How do we fight it? Pray like Jesus. As we complete our series “Pray Like Jesus,” we’re going to discover the final leg of the prayer that leads us to fight the main battle in life, eyes wide open, and with a different kind of power.
