Truth Un-compromised (Revelation 2:12-17)

Compromise can be a good or bad thing. We teach our kids to make compromises with each other to help negotiate the best way to live together. Peace often involves compromise. Yet there are other times when compromising is disastrous. Whenever we compromise our integrity by lying, cheating, or stealing it never takes us anywhere good. And it's never acceptable for a spouse to ever compromise on their faithfulness to the marriage. Could you imagine, "Hey, honey, I'm faithful most of the time. Don't worry, I just compromise a little." As we continue in our series "Why Church?" we're going to look at the real threat of compromise to our faith and what it takes to remain faithful to Jesus.
