Sexually Sane (Revelation 2:18-29)

What’s the big deal? If it makes me happy and it’s not harming anyone, who cares? Why can’t we all just get along? These questions are some of the most central questions around our American culture today when it comes to faith and sexuality. Tolerance is considered by many to be the main virtue. “If it enables more people to find their own happiness, why not?” many reason. So what do we say to this? In a culture where “anything goes” when it comes to sexual identity and expression and various beliefs – as long as it’s not harming anyone – who’s to argue against this? Is this the way to human flourishing? Or is there a dark underbelly not totally visible at surface level? This is what we want to address as we continue in our series “Why Church?” Discover God’s heart for human flourishing when it comes to faith and human sexuality.
