Before a Watching World (Jonah 1:4-16)

Ever felt ignored? Unwanted?…not a fun feeling. That feeling alone can make us not ever want to go back to the environments or people who made us feel that way. As much as we don’t like feeling this way, have we unwittingly become the ignorers rather than the ignored? Stats are showing that many who call themselves Christians have little to no non-Christian friends or family members, which means far too many non-Christians are disconnected and ignored by the church. Yet, that doesn’t mean they do not have spiritual questions they’d like answered, or that they’re not seeking something spiritually better. But do we care? What will it take for the church to bridge the gap? Find out Sunday as we continue our new series “Jonah: Living for More than Me” and explore the powerful invitation and resources for living our faith before a watching world.
